Britain wins men's 4x200m freestyle relay gold at Olympics

TOKYO, July 28 -- Britain won the men's 4x200m frestyle gold at the Tokyo Olympics in an European record time of six minutes and 58.58 seconds here on Wednesday, reported Xinhua.
Russian swimmers finished second in 7:01.81 and the bronze to the Australia team a mere 0.03 seconds behind.
The United States, who has won consecutive Olympic golds in the event since Athens 2004, finished in the fourth place, with a tired Zach Apple who just swam the men's 100m freestyle semifinal earlier in the morning.
