US gymnast Carey wins gold in women's floor exercise

TOKYO, Aug 2 -- US gymnast Jade Carey claimed the Olympic gold medal in the women's floor exercise at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games on Monday, Xinhua reported.
She scored 14.366 points to finish at the top, ahead of Italy's Vanessa Ferrari who scored 14.200 points. Japan's Mai Murakami took bronze in 14.166 points.
